The School of Technology offers a program of graduate study leading to the Master of Technology degree. The program, which provides technical, engineering, and applied science skills for the re-engineering of the technical workforce, is designed to meet the needs of industrial, business, and engineering technologists, and managers and coordinators of technical activities.

Two degree options are available: thesis and non-thesis. The thesis option is recommended for those students interested in activities related to research and development (R&D). This option allows students to acquire in-depth knowledge in a narrowly defined technical area of their interest. The non-thesis option is recommended for students who want to pursue a larger breadth of advanced technical coursework.

In order to offer maximum flexibility for learners at their home or at their workplace, the Master of Technology degree utilizes both traditional and non-traditional instructional delivery modes, including distance and distributed learning using real-time two-way audio and video conferencing as well as web-based courses.
